        A lot of scientists are trying!
        The only problem is there are lots of different cancers that act in lots of different ways. That means there probably won’t be one cure for cancer, but lots of different ways of helping with different cancers.
        Our understanding of cancer has come a long way and now days you have a much greater chance of surviving that you would have 10 year ago.

        The work I do isn’t looking into a cure for cancer. I’m looking at new sustainable materials that will hopefully be able to replace some materials which can cause cancer, but I’m not directly looking for a cure.

        One of my scientist friends actually works for a company who are trying to find medicine to cure cancer!

        A lot of scientists are researching this and hopefully one day they manage to find a cure for all cancers.
