The sun will probably expand so much that it will eat Mercury, Venus and The Earth. This process will take around a few million, or even a billion years. Hopefully long before then humans will have developed technology to leave earth.
However, the world as we know could end a lot sooner if we continue to live as we are – we use a lot of fossil fuels like coal and oil to make heat and electricity. The population of the earth is getting bigger and bigger, making it more difficult to grow enough food for everyone. There are also enough nuclear weapons in the world to destroy all life on earth.
We must work hard together to prevent these things from happening. Currently scientists are trying to make electricity in different ways that do not require fossil fuels, such as solar panels, and water-powered generators. Scientists are are also trying to grow food more easily, so there will be enough for everyone.
It is also important that everyone tries to be nice to each other, so we can live together in peace.

Hopefully not while we are alive!
There are a few main ways that the world could end. If a big enough asteroid hit us it is possible that it could end all life. We get hit by space rocks every year but many of them are not big enough to do a lot of damage.
Another possibility is disease, a illness that spreads to everyone. Luckily we are quite clean and good a controlling the spread of disease reducing the chance of this happening. There is also a chance that nature could fight back and do us damage such as super volcanoes or extreme weather.

All of these are just possibilities though and we are extremely good at surviving. Even if there was a mass disaster I still think the human race would survive and rebuild. We are clever enough to survive, it is in our nature.
The world will definitely come to an end at some point. In the end it is the Sun that will destroy the Earth as it expands into it us warming up the planet until not life can exist. But this won’t happen for about 4 billion years (4,000,000,000 years!) which is a very long time, so there is nothing to be worried about, we’ll keep on living for a long time yet.

This is an impossible question to answer! It is unknown when the world will end however its is more than likely its not going to hapoen in our lifetime or anytime in the near future.
